THE GOAT HORN

BY STEPHEN WHITTY

Stark drama and great visuals combine in this straightforward story from Bulgaria about the two survivors of a Turkish atrocity and how they took their revenge. Nearly wordless and untied to any specific time, it has the feel of a fable; after a few uncertain scenes, it begins to take on the weight of a classic tragedy.

Feature. Screens Monday at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at 9:16 p.m., United Artists Pavilion.
